Aim and Purpose of the Association

Creation of an organisation of experts and surveyors in the fields of shipping, marine, transportation and port industries.

The association shall help to achieve and maintain a competent and high-standard work of its members.

Surveyors and experts being qualified in various fields carry out their jobs not only in Germany but also in other countries in the Baltic Sea range, above all in Poland, Russia and the Baltic states. The association serves to provide their members with further education and to keep their knowledge up to date as well as to maintain contacts to marine expert assoziations in Germany and Europe.

Observer Status

The association of Marine Experts of Meklenburg-Vorpommern has an observer status with the following associtions:

– FEMAS (Federation of European Marine Consultants and Surveyors)
